  If I could give no stars, I would. Orkin came to my house for a bird issue. We bought this house about a month ago. There was evidence of birds in our awning and my husband works long hours and I thought it would be easier to have professionals handle this. Orkin came out and gave me a bid. It wasn't to awfully terrible so I said ok. While they were here I explained that we had just purchased the home and would like to maintain it from pests could he give me a bid on that, he proceeds to get in my crawl space and tell me I have termites.... For the low price of $2,350 he could handle the birds and the termites for me. I of course am freaking out as w had this home inspected a month ago. Family and friend suggested getting a second opinion. Talking with my sister in law she explained that our brother in law had worked as an exterminator previously and to have him take a look. I had him come out and he said there was no evidence of termites. Orkin tried to scam me out of thousands and that is truly sad. So please beware before calling.
